JVC blurb...
The JVC HM-HDS4 will revolutionize consumer perceptions of video and television. Its 80GB Hard Disk is a real "time machine": it allows users to instantly start recording a TV programme, then start watching the recording from the beginning even while the system is still recording the end of the broadcast. But it's also a great tool for camcorder users, thanks to its absolutely unique ability to transcribe original Mini DV signals without incurring the inevitable losses of conversion into MPEG2 format. Completing the package is a built-in S-VHS ET tape deck, to allow straightforward sharing of recorded material with friends and family.
Below you will find a collection of information that may be useful to you when trying to fault-find, or repair your unit. Feel free to use the Forums to exchange ideas and tips. Every little bit helps to make the big picture on this unit. Without people like you, I wouldn't have got this far.
